1. Japan has at least 164 COVID-19 cases and will close schools for most of March.
2. Seven new countries have reported their first cases, including Greece, Norway, and Pakistan.
3. As I detailed yesterday, the COVID-19 patient in Northern California has no known travel history or exposure to other patients with COVID-19. The hospital had requested coronavirus testing, but because the patient didn’t fit into the diagnostic criteria, the patient was not immediately tested, according to UC Davis Medical Center.
